Our love for fragrance has been around for millennia and is deeply rooted in many cultures. As more and more consumers are demanding natural skincare, companies are continuously looking for ways to meet that demand with "natural fragrances."
We are often asked, "Why No Jasmine, Sandalwood or Apple Scents?" When we use scents (essential oils) we look at a few criteria such as the method of extraction, sustainability, cost and of course is it a pure essential oil.
It is our practice to purchase essential oils that are harvested or made in an environmentally and ethically. As a company committed to making natural products, we are also committed to our planet and its people. Using any raw material to the point of extinction makes no sense. So we do our research and buy from companies that share our commitment.
The chemical composition of essential oils cannot be recreated in a laboratory. Essential oils are derived from real plant material. Fragrance oils are artificially created and, even those that are derived from natural components, do not offer the therapeutic advantages of essential oils.
