How to Use an ACV Hair Rinse
Our herbal vinegar rinse is a concentrate and must be diluted before use.
- Mix 2–4 tablespoons of vinegar with about 16 oz (2 cups) of water.
- After shampooing, pour or spray the diluted rinse through wet hair.
- Massage gently into hair and scalp, and allow it to sit for a minute or two.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water and towel dry.
The vinegar scent will fade as your hair dries.
If you have very sensitive skin or are simply trying a new product for the first time, we always recommend doing a patch test.

It smells like lemon pledge furniture polish which I grew up with polishing furniture. So it doesn’t smell very pleasant to me. "I use this about 1 to 2 times per week. My hair has made a dramatic turn around. I started using this when I lived in a city with lead pipes and my hair always smelled like nickels. When I used this rinse it helped rid my hair of all the build up. BUT after I moved and now have spring fed well water, my hair has made even more of a turn around. This rinse helps reduce the build up and leaves my hair shiny, bouncy, tangle free, and full of life."

- I have this ACV rinse,,but after couple of uses I see brown stuff on the edge and inside, like it is rusted.. Is this normal? This is the third product and this was the same for all..

Due to the fact that we use sustainable metal lids with no coating, the mildly acidic vinegar rinse can cause a bit of rust. You can wipe it clean and it should come off! I hope this helps! - Can this be use in place of conditioner or should I use it after conditioner? Can I use it in conjunction with non-natural shampoo and/or conditioner? I used it once with non-natural shampoo and conditioner and it was great! But then I used it with just the non-natural shampoo and I had a lot of dandruff. I haven’t tried with natural shampoo yet that will be my next experiment. My hair/scalp type is dry/flaky.

¿Con qué frecuencia puedo utilizar un enjuague capilar con vinagre de sidra de manzana?
Dado que el cabello de cada persona es único, debes utilizar tu propio criterio.
Recuerde : al cabello seco le gusta menos el vinagre y al cabello graso le gusta más.
Para la mayoría de las personas, usar un enjuague con vinagre a diario resecará bastante la piel. Lo mejor es limitar su uso a una o dos veces por semana.
La cantidad de agua que añadas al vinagre y la proporción de dilución también influirán en la frecuencia de uso y en si reseca el cabello. Tendrás que experimentar para encontrar la dilución que mejor se adapte a tu tipo de cabello. Empieza siempre con un enjuague muy diluido para encontrar la proporción adecuada.
