How to Use a Conditioning Hair Balm

Warm a very small amount between your fingertips—a little goes a long way.
Apply to damp or dry hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends where hair tends to feel driest. Gently work through the hair to distribute evenly.

Here are our suggestions for using the Cocoa Butter Hair Whip: Directions For Dry Scalp: Using your fingertips gently massage a small amount of hair balm into your scalp. The massaging action aids in the absorption. Leave on for at least 15 minutes and then wash and style as usual. For Dry Hair: Place a small amount of butter in the palm of your hand, rub palms together and apply to hair starting at the roots and working to the ends. For an intensive hair treatment: Wrap buttered hair in a warm towel for 30 minutes or longer. Wash and style as usual. Use a leave in conditioner after shampooing to help prevent split ends, calm frizz and flyaways and add a healthy shine. Place a small amount of butter in the palm of your hand, rub palms together and scrunch into hair ends only or smooth over the length of your hair and comb thoroughly to evenly distribute the butter. I currently use the Cafe Moreno shampoo bar with an apple cider vinegar rinse twice a week and am looking to add a conditioner to my routine. Hello, I have long , fine and very straight hair. I have a very oily scalp and must wash it everyday. Normally it is very manageable with shampoo & conditioner and then a leave in conditioner for the tangles. I have been using the butter bar shampoo for about 2 weeks now and my hair is so dry and brittle I can’t get a comb through it. I have even resorted to washing it every other day, which has not helped, so I have gone back to my old conditioner and leave it conditioner., which has helped. I always let my hair dry on it’s own. Everything I have read here says I can leave it in but only if I then dry it. Can it be left on without drying it?: Hi Irene, Thanks for your question! It sounds like the Butter Bar might not be the best option for you. This is a VERY heavy bar better suited for those with very coarse, thick, dry hair. It contains double the amounts of oils and butters as our other shampoos and is not really meant to be used as a shampoo as it does not cleanse much. I would recommend trying a couple different sample sized shampoo bars that may be better fits for your hair type such as the Coconut Milk, Rosemary Lavender or Summer Sunshine. It also helps make better lather, which is the second thing. Lather is very important, otherwise you are putting more oil in the hair than cleansing. Be sure to work up a really good lather, not in the hair, but in the hands as much as possible, then use the hands to get more lather in the hair. Hope this helps! ¿Qué pasa si mi producto natural para el cuidado de la piel se derrite con el clima cálido?

Durante el clima cálido, los productos pueden ablandarse o incluso derretirse mientras permanecen en camiones de correo calientes, buzones o en los porches delanteros.

La calidad y las propiedades curativas de nuestros productos no se ven afectadas por la fusión.

En días muy soleados o cálidos, ANTES de abrir los frascos o latas, guarde los alimentos en el refrigerador durante unas horas para que se endurezcan, por si acaso se han derretido durante el transporte. ¿Qué hacer con el derretimiento?

Desodorantes en crema

Si crees que tu desodorante tipo bálsamo está derretido o líquido, ANTES de abrir el frasco, mételo en el congelador de 10 a 15 minutos. Cuando empiece a endurecerse, revuélvelo (para que los sólidos no se hundan) y vuelve a colocarlo en el congelador hasta que esté firme.

A veces, un desodorante en crema puede derretirse durante el transporte en caliente y luego solidificarse lentamente antes de recibirlo. Esta fusión y enfriamiento lento pueden causar una sensación granulada. Si su desodorante se siente granulado, simplemente derrítalo, mézclelo bien y guárdelo en el refrigerador hasta que se solidifique.

Como los desodorantes en barra están elaborados con más cera de abejas, son menos sensibles al aumento de la temperatura exterior.

Mantequillas corporales batidas

Si un exfoliante de azúcar se derrite, el aceite podría separarse un poco. Mézclalo bien y guárdalo en el refrigerador de 10 a 15 minutos. Cuando empiece a endurecerse, revuélvelo para dispersar los azúcares y vuelve a guardarlo en el refrigerador. Una vez que se haya solidificado y mezclado, ¡estará listo para usar! Al ser un producto batido, el recipiente podría tener menos volumen cuando la mantequilla batida se derrita.

Manteca corporal batida de cacao orgánica natural Bueno, primero que nada, es un producto totalmente natural. Las lociones comerciales NO lo son. Nuestros bálsamos corporales y mantecas de karité batidas solo contienen los ingredientes necesarios para hidratar la piel.

Las cremas y lociones formuladas con ingredientes sintéticos a menudo agravan la piel sensible, exacerban las afecciones cutáneas irritadas y desencadenan dermatitis alérgica.

Los aceites y mantecas orgánicos que utilizamos NO contienen productos químicos derivados del petróleo (aceite mineral, vaselina, parafina), emulsionantes químicos (DEA, MEA, TEA), conservantes químicos (parabenos, urea), propilenglicol, colorantes artificiales ni fragancias sintéticas.

Sin conservantes

¿Alguna vez has notado que cuando usas tu loción corporal tu piel nunca permanece hidratada y terminas volviendo a la botella de loción una y otra vez?

Mira los ingredientes. ¡El ingrediente principal de la loción es el agua! Una vez que se añade agua para preparar una loción, se necesitan conservantes para prevenir la aparición de moho y bacterias.

Sin alcohol ni ingredientes derivados del petróleo

El aceite mineral es un aceite líquido transparente, inodoro y resistente a la corrosión. Se encuentra en lociones, jabones, aceite para bebés, cosméticos y aceite de motor.

Es ideal para engrasar tablas de cortar de madera, pero no la piel. El aceite mineral no penetra para suavizarlas. Es difícil de absorber, recubre la piel y obstruye los poros. Si desea una piel sana, evite los aceites minerales, las grasas animales, el petróleo y los productos para el cuidado de la piel a base de aceites sintéticos.

Deshazte de esos talones agrietados
