Pumice

Pumice

Pumice stone is the end product of an amazing force of mother nature, the volcano. It is a light-colored, very porous, aerated, frothy-like igneous rock that forms during explosive volcanic eruptions.

Pumice can be ground into an abrasive powder and used in soaps and scrubs as a natural exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, clean pores, and restore skin vibrancy.

The ban on synthetic exfoliating microbeads has caused a renewed interest in pumice and other sustainable, eco-friendly, effective exfoliant for personal care products. (Microbead-Free Waters Act of 2015)
