How Our Bamboo Spatula Is Made
This spatula is made from carbonized bamboo, a process that uses heat and pressure to strengthen the wood naturally. During carbonization, bamboo is exposed to high temperatures in a low‑oxygen environment, which removes moisture and tightens the fibers — all without the use of synthetic chemicals.
The result is a material that’s more durable and better able to resist warping or cracking with repeated use. The heat also caramelizes the bamboo’s natural sugars, deepening its pale yellow color into a warm, golden tone.
Each spatula is finished with a food-grade mineral oil to help condition the surface and maintain a smooth feel.

"Loved everything about this order. Everything packed with care. Even a chill pack for the Squalane. The website does a great job of illustrating all the products. The Tamanu Salve is rich, aromatic and wonderful. Just a wee dab of the Whipped Squalane seals in the moisture. Woodland Breeze was my first venture into a cream deodorant. Got the spoon, too. Re-ordered the Calendula salve as it's really helping the complexion. Hooked on their bar soap. The Adzuki Bean has such beautiful fragrance and sudsy to boot.
