Coconut milkis packed with healthy skin oils and antioxidants. The high-fat content helps soothe and moisturize sensitive or dry skin, soften fur, condition the coat and add body and shine. Avocado oil imparts silkiness, softness, and shine to the coat.
Rich in nourishing fatty acids, Coconut Oil has natural emollient properties that help mainatin a soft, silky, shiny, and healthy coat. When applied topically, the oil is readily absorbed into the skin, providing deep hydration and creating a protective layer for dry and itchy skin.

Need to freshen your dog’s coat between washes? Our Dry Shampoo for Dogs absorbs excess oils and leaves your dog's coat smelling fresh and clean while boosting natural shine.
How To Use
Using a bar of soap to wash your pet is much simpler and less messy than using liquid soap. The perfect size bar fits in the palm of your hand for easier use.
- Thoroughly wet your pet with warm water
- Rub the bar on your pet's wet coat and use your fingers to create a rich, creamy lather. If necessary, add more water to create lather.
- Working from head to tail, carefully avoiding eyes, massage the natural shampoo deep into the coat on the body, belly, neck and feet.
- Rinse thoroughly to prevent dried soapy hair.
- Repeat if your pet is really dirty, but one wash is usually enough.
- Rub your pet down with a clean, dry towel.
When finished bathing your dog, allow the bar to dry out completed and then store it back in its box until the next bath time.
Tip: Apply a bit of shampoo to a small cotton face pad (I use this one) and use it to gently wipe that grimy area around the snout and under the eyes.

I needed something as plain as possible to spot-clean (like I'm talking about a sofa 😆) my cats if they get into things.. as they do. "my dog stays so fluffy and clean smelling with this even though it's unscented. It must just do a good job getting all the dirt off. We used another brand's natural liquid dog shampoo but my husband was irritated by some kind of oil in it while our dog was wet. With this he's completely fine. Pup also seems squeaky clean but she's not itching or anything to indicate it's drying her skin at all. I'd say her coat even looks healthier."

"I have a Great Pyrenees that has outdoor /pollen allergies AND food allergies so he’s a sensitive guy. On top of that, he hates bath time. I used to use a liquid shampoo from the pet store and after a bath soooooo much hair would fall out. I saw this bar soap and thought I would try it, thinking I wouldn’t have to stop and keep reapplying more liquid shampoo since he’s such a big guy. This bar shampoo is the BEST, I’m not going to use anything else on my dogs! It reduced the amount of hair loss dramatically and the ease of use is so much better! My only suggestion is for a “full size” bar for large dogs!"

Alle Naturseifen, Shampoo-Riegel und Körperpflegeprodukte von Chagrin Valley sind von Leaping Bunny als tierversuchsfrei zertifiziert.
Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve ist seit 2013 Leaping Bunny-zertifiziert.
Das Leaping Bunny-Programm wurde 1996 von der Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) entwickelt, um Unternehmen zu identifizieren und zu unterstützen, die ihren Beitrag dazu leisten, den unnötigen Einsatz und die Misshandlung von Tieren für Tests von Kosmetikprodukten und -inhaltsstoffen zu verhindern. Die CCIC besteht aus acht Tierschutzorganisationen, darunter der US-amerikanischen Humane Society, sowie Organisationen aus Kanada und Europa.
Bei Chagrin Valley testen wir unsere fertigen Produkte nicht an Tieren (außer an freiwilligen Versuchspersonen). Aber wie sieht es mit den Rohstoffen und Zutaten aus, die wir verwenden?
Auf vielen Produkten wird auf dem Etikett behauptet, das Endprodukt sei „nicht an Tieren getestet“ worden. Dies garantiert jedoch nicht, dass die Inhaltsstoffe des Produkts tatsächlich frei von Tierversuchen sind.
Der CCIC-Standard ist die Verpflichtung eines Unternehmens , Tierversuche in allen Phasen der Produktentwicklung zu vermeiden. Unsere Verpflichtung, tierversuchsfreie Inhaltsstoffe zu kaufen, ist in die Einkaufsvereinbarungen aller unserer Lieferanten integriert.
Körperpflegeprodukte mit dem „echten“ Leaping Bunny Logo sind nach den international anerkannten Humane Cosmetics Standards als tierversuchsfrei zertifiziert. Diese strengen Standards verlangen, dass weder das Unternehmen noch seine Labore oder Lieferanten nach einem festgelegten Stichtag Tierversuche für Fertigprodukte oder Inhaltsstoffe in irgendeiner Phase der Produktentwicklung durchführen oder zulassen. Alle Leaping Bunny Unternehmen unterliegen unabhängigen Audits und verpflichten sich, ihre Produkte jährlich zu erneuern.
Diese jährliche Erneuerung ist eine wichtige Voraussetzung, die das Leaping Bunny-Programm von anderen Zertifizierungsprogrammen für tierversuchsfreie Produkte unterscheidet.
