Healthy dog paws are meant to be hydrated and spongy, not dry and rough. If left untreated, dry paws can cause discomfort, obsessive licking, and become prone to cracking and bleeding.
Our natural dog paw salve is formulated to moisturize, condition and protect as well as provide soothing relief for sore, rough, dry or cracked paws as well as dry and irritated skin. It can help eliminate excessive licking and itching from allergies.
Our dog paw salve moisturizes, soothes, and heals your pup's paws to keep them nourished and healthy. This salve can also create a barrier to help protect the paws against the hot summer pavement, winter salt, ice and snow, sand on the beach, and dry air.
Nourishing oils are infused with organic botanicals known to speed up healing while providing soothing relief from irritations.
- Calendula: antimicrobial and wound-healing properties speed up healing while providing soothing relief.
- Mullein: astringent and antimicrobial properties are ideal for treating minor wounds and insect bites.
- St. John’s Wort: antiseptic and antiviral properties speed up healing and reduce pain.
- Neem oil's antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties make it an effective remedy for irritations.

How To Use
This conditioning salve can be used as a daily moisturizer or an after-adventure recovery balm for your dog.
To use:
- Clean dirt from around the affected area.
- With clean fingers gently massage a small amount of salve into dog paw pads to soothe and soften.
- Paws will be slick after application so allow the area to dry a bit.
- Tip: Apply at bedtime when dog is at rest and not running around.
- Repeat a few times daily as needed to heal or help prevent irritation.
Since dogs lick their paws, this salve is safe for licking!

- Hello, I gave a 5 year old French Briard named Oriah recently she has been diagnosed with a hereditary immune disorder. She is being weaned from Prednisone and is on antibiotics as infections occur. One of the side effects of the immuno suppressants is the integrity of the skin is weakened and she is now having areas of red scaly patches on her skin. Would one of your salves help these to heal? I treat with homeopathy whenever I can. Your salves seem to be made of the mist healing ingredients I am hoping one will help her. Thank you, michele

Some salves that might be a good option would be our Baby Bum Salve or Chickweed depending on what seems to be the best fit for your needs. Our Baby Bum Salve is very soothing and moisturizing while also providing some healing properties for skin irritation and redness. - I trusted the website's assurance when they said it was safe for dogs who lick their paws and went ahead and ordered it. We've put it on our yellow lab's winter worn and dried pads for a couple of weeks now. They're much improved, smoother and softer. And, yep, she licks them after we put it on, but with no ill effects (her breath even smells better ;)).

Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve ist seit 2013 Leaping Bunny-zertifiziert.
Das Leaping Bunny-Programm wurde 1996 von der Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) entwickelt, um Unternehmen zu identifizieren und zu unterstützen, die ihren Beitrag dazu leisten, den unnötigen Einsatz und die Misshandlung von Tieren für Tests von Kosmetikprodukten und -inhaltsstoffen zu verhindern. Diese strengen Standards verlangen, dass weder das Unternehmen noch seine Labore oder Lieferanten nach einem festgelegten Stichtag Tierversuche für Fertigprodukte oder Inhaltsstoffe in irgendeiner Phase der Produktentwicklung durchführen oder zulassen. Wir stellen alle unsere Produkte in kleinen Chargen von Hand her, um Frische, Konsistenz und Perfektion zu gewährleisten.
Unsere Produkte sind nicht dafür gemacht, jahrelang in den Regalen der Geschäfte zu stehen.
Obwohl die chemische Struktur vieler natürlicher Inhaltsstoffe natürliche Konservierungsmittel enthält, sind diese nicht so wirksam wie die synthetischen Konservierungsmittel, die in kommerziellen Produkten zur Verlängerung der Haltbarkeit verwendet werden.
Mit Ausnahme von Seife werden unsere Produkte alle paar Wochen erneuert und sind beim Verkauf nicht sehr alt. Unsere Nicht-Seifenprodukte sollten innerhalb von 6 Monaten nach dem Kauf geöffnet werden.
Da wir keine Konservierungsstoffe oder chemischen Stabilisatoren verwenden, ist die wichtigere Frage: „Wie lange ist das Produkt nach dem Öffnen haltbar?“
Nach dem Öffnen sind Hautpflegeprodukte Schmutz und Mikroorganismen (Bakterien, Hefen und Schimmel) ausgesetzt, die in der Luft und auf der Haut vorkommen.
Sobald Sie ein Produkt öffnen und verwenden, wirkt sich allein die Art und Weise der Verwendung auf seine Lebensdauer aus.
Daher verwenden wir das PAO-Symbol (Period After Opening) . Diese Symbole sind bereits auf den Produktseiten unserer Website verfügbar und wir sind dabei, sie auf allen unseren Etiketten hinzuzufügen.
Das POA-Symbol ist ein Standardsymbol, das die Nutzungsdauer eines Hautpflegeprodukts nach dem ersten Öffnen angibt.
Wie Sie auf dem Bild sehen können, ist das Symbol ein offenes Glas mit einer darauf geschriebenen Zahl und dem Buchstaben „M“ für das Wort „Monate“.
Ein Produkt mit der Kennzeichnung „9M“ bedeutet, dass es nach dem Öffnen 9 Monate haltbar ist.
Tipp: Notieren Sie das Datum der ersten Öffnung eines Produkts auf dem Etikett, damit Sie den Zeitraum nach dem Öffnen im Auge behalten.
Unsere POA-Nummer stellt unseren besten Vorschlag dar. Viele Faktoren können die Lebensdauer eines Produkts beeinflussen. Wenn ein Produkt verfärbt ist, unangenehm riecht oder ungewöhnlich aussieht, sollte es nicht verwendet und entsorgt werden.
- Jedes Mal, wenn Sie Ihre warmen Finger in eine Dose oder ein Glas stecken, schmelzen Sie etwas Butter, was die Konsistenz des Produkts verändern kann.

- Mit der Zeit können natürliche Farben auch verblassen.
Wenn es dir wie mir geht und du ein altes, verstaubtes Produkt in einer Schublade, einer Kosmetiktasche oder sogar einem Koffer von deiner letzten Reise findest, kannst du uns gerne anrufen und uns die Chargennummer mitteilen.
