Organic Beeswax
Softens, Seals, and Supports Lasting Moisture
Beeswax, Cera alba, is produced by worker honeybees and has been used for generations in skincare for its unique texture and versatility. It plays an essential role in many formulations, transforming liquid oils into solid or semi-solid products like lip balms, salves, and lotion bars.
On the skin, beeswax forms a light, breathable layer that helps reduce moisture loss and supports a hydrated feel. It works alongside oils and butters to improve how a product feels and performs, helping to keep skin soft and smooth.
Beeswax also helps shape the texture and consistency of many of our products. It gives them firmness, yet allows them to soften with the warmth of your skin for an easy, creamy, smooth application.
In hair care, beeswax can help smooth and shape hair while adding a soft, natural-looking sheen.
Our unrefined beeswax ranges in color from light yellow to deeper golden tones and carries its natural honey aroma. After the wax is collected from beehives, it is gently melted and filtered to create a clean, uniform raw material while preserving its natural qualities. Because it is minimally processed, it may contain traces of honey and propolis, which contribute to its character.
