Allspice
Warm, Comforting Spice for Seasonal Scent Blends
Allspice, Pimenta dioica, comes from the dried, unripe berries of a small evergreen tree in the myrtle family native to the West Indies, Mexico, and Central America.
The berries are harvested while still green and then dried in the sun until they turn deep brown and aromatic. Ground or whole, allspice has been cherished for centuries in both cooking and traditional herbal practices.
Its fragrance is what makes it so special—a warm, sweet, spicy blend often described as a harmony of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and black pepper, which is why it's called "allspice". This uniquely layered scent comes largely from eugenol, the same compound found in cloves, which gives allspice its uplifting, slightly woody, and comforting character.
Although allspice contains natural antioxidants and antimicrobial compounds, we use it exclusively for its evocative aroma, not for therapeutic skin or hair benefits.
In our Pumpkin Spice line, allspice adds depth, warmth, and the unmistakable seasonal character that customers love.
