Babassu Oil, Orbignya oleifera, expeller-pressed from the seeds of the Brazilian babassu palm, has long been treasured by Indigenous communities of South America for its remarkable moisturizing and soothing properties. This light, fast-absorbing oil melts easily on contact with the skin, delivering deep hydration without a greasy feel.
Rich in fatty acids—particularly lauric and myristic acids—and natural vitamin E, babassu oil nourishes and softens dry, chapped, or irritated skin. Its gentle emollient and anti-inflammatory qualities help calm itching, redness, and discomfort associated with dryness or eczema. Suitable for all skin types, it leaves the skin smooth, supple, and refreshed.
Although solid at room temperature, babassu oil quickly transforms into a silky liquid that penetrates easily, much like coconut oil but with a lighter texture. Its natural antioxidant content helps support healthy skin tone and protect against environmental stressors.
In hair care, babassu oil moisturizes and conditions both hair and scalp. It helps reduce dryness, improve elasticity, and restore natural shine, making it an excellent choice for brittle, dull, or over-processed hair.

We use USDA Certified Organic expeller-pressed babassu oil extracted from the kernels found within the fruit of the babassu tree. To enhance clarity and stability, the oil is refined using natural processing aids, steam heat, and diatomaceous earth (earthen bleaching clay), all within USDA Organic guidelines. Â
