Product Overview

Botanical Clarity for Balanced Skin

Astringent herbs have long been used in traditional skincare rituals to help the complexion feel refreshed, clarified, and softly toned. This delicate, herb‑forward blend is crafted with botanicals known for their naturally astringent qualities, transforming warm water into a soft, aromatic steam or a fresh, plant‑infused toner that leaves the skin feeling lightly tightened, refreshed, balanced, and renewed.

Unlike many conventional toners that rely on synthetic ingredients or alcohol, this blend supports clearer‑looking skin using the natural properties of whole herbs. When prepared as a steam or cooled and used as a facial toner, the infusion helps refresh the skin, refine the appearance of pores, and promote a more balanced complexion — especially welcome for skin that tends toward oiliness or feels in need of gentle toning.

Botanical Blend Highlights

Organic lemon balm, rose petals, chamomile, calendula, and yarrow create a soothing floral‑herbal base that feels calming and restorative on the skin. Raspberry leaf, thyme, sage, and peppermint add a crisp, uplifting edge, contributing to the blend’s naturally toning character.

Together, these botanicals help gently cleanse, tone, and clarify the skin while maintaining comfort and balance, making this blend suitable for a wide range of skin types.

Use Two Ways

Use it as a facial steam to enjoy the warmth and rising herbal aromatics, or cool to create a fresh toner that can be applied with a cotton pad or misted onto the skin. The experience is simple and sensory: the herbs release their natural plant compounds into the water, creating a moment of quiet care that leaves the skin feeling balanced and softly refined.

This blend is not intended to treat or cure any condition — it’s simply a gentle, botanical way to refresh the skin and elevate your daily ritual.

How To Use

How to Use Herbal Facial Teas

As a Facial Steam

Place herbs in the included muslin bag, pour boiling water over them in a heatproof bowl, and allow to steep. Sit comfortably with your face about 12 inches above the bowl and drape a towel over your head to capture the steam. Steam gently for 5–10 minutes, taking breaks as needed. Rinse with cool water afterward and follow with moisturizer.

As a Botanical Toner

Steep herbs in boiling water, allow the infusion to cool, and apply to clean skin using cotton or by spritzing from a spray bottle. No rinsing is needed. Extra toner can be refrigerated and used within about a week.

Our herbal facial teas work beautifully with water alone or can be combined with simple additions like honey or apple cider vinegar, ingredients often already found in your kitchen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Everyone Use an Herbal Facial Steams?

Although many people benefit from natural herbal facial steams, they are not appropriate for everyone.

Steam facials should not be used for those with cystic acne or rosacea and heat and sweating can often irritate eczema.

For folks who have extremely sensitive, damaged skin or who are prone to developing tiny broken veins or capillaries, herbal steams can be irritating and should be avoided unless suggested by a health-care provider.

People with health conditions such as asthma or heart trouble should consult their physician before doing facial steams. If you have sensitive or allergy-prone skin, you should always do a skin patch test before using any new herbal product.

Just like you should not sit too long in a steam room, you do not want to facial steam too long or too often. Listen to YOUR skin and your body! A word of caution-- If you feel light-headed or woozy during steaming, stop at once.
