Natural additives are where creativity meets intention in natural skincare. These are the ingredients that don’t fit neatly into a single category—clays, salts, fruits, grains, vegetables, sugars, coffee, chocolate, and other whole, minimally processed plant and mineral-based ingredients.
These ingredients often give a natural skin or hair care product its personality. Clays and mineral salts help cleanse and purify, sugars and grains provide gentle exfoliation, and fruits and vegetables contribute naturally occurring nutrients. Many also add natural color, texture, and aroma, transforming skincare into something that feels vibrant, tactile, and unmistakably real.
We believe skincare should engage the senses as much as it supports the skin. That’s why we use natural additives to create products with depth, character, and purpose—without relying on synthetic fillers or artificial enhancements.
We choose USDA-Certified Organic ingredients whenever possible. Some natural additives, such as clays, salts, and mineral-rich muds, are not agricultural products and cannot be certified organic. As a USDA Certified Organic company, we are required to verify that even these ingredients are naturally occurring, non-synthetic, responsibly sourced, and fully compliant with organic standards.
All of our sugars are organic and vegan (bone-char free).
